Police OFficer Saves McDonald's Patron From Choking

 

 

12/11/13: Officer April Clarizia was dispatched to the McDonald’s Restaurant located at 40 Enon Street in North Beverly shortly after 1:00pm for a report of an unresponsive man in the restaurant. Upon arrival, Officer Clarizia observed a male party whom had a pulse, but was not breathing. Officer Clarizia, quickly opened the victim’s mouth and observed food lodged in his throat. A finger sweep technique was performed and removed some of the food. Paramedics from Northeast Ambulance Service were able to remove the remaining food with a suction tool prior to the male being transported to Beverly Hospital.
